Briefing: Making Change Happen conference

Scotland is a country that believes in justice and compassion. These values guide the anti-poverty movement in all that we do – including the design and delivery of our campaigning activities. On 29 November 2024, the Poverty Alliance annual conference focused on how we make change happen. It was a chance to discuss how we organise for change, from the grassroots to the national level, to learn from each other about what works and when, and to help shape the anti-poverty movement’s campaigning priorities for the coming years.

This briefing captures some of the fantastic discussions we had on the day, and we hope it becomes a useful resource for campaigners in Scotland and beyond. You can read it in the window below, or download it from here.
