JRF launched their Poverty In Scotland 2024 report, highlighting how the Scottish and UK Governments share a joint responsibility for high levels of poverty in Scotland, including worrying increases in deep poverty.
Edinburgh Tenants Federation held a special event, with stalls, guest speakers, networking opportunities, and workshops on housing benefit and housing rights.
Poverty Alliance members West Lothian College took part in the Tackling Poverty Conference – Poverty & Trauma, alongside West Lothian Council's Anti-Poverty Team, and local charity The Scheme. The event explored the deep connections between poverty and trauma and provided insight into how groups can work together to become more trauma-informed.
