Argyll & Bute meet-up: anti-poverty sharing and learning
4 December @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Thanks for your interest in this anti-poverty sharing and learning meet-up for Argyll & Bute – hosted by the Poverty Alliance and Argyll & Bute Third Sector Interface. If your work addresses poverty or perhaps you are trying to reduce the cost of living in your community, please join us for December’s session. We’ll focus on:
Influencing policy and decision makers to take anti-poverty action – how can we work together in Argyll & Bute?
In feedback on our first session, you told us that you wanted to hear more about policy and influencing. After a short overview of how Poverty Alliance engages in these areas, we will spend time discussing how we can work together to influence policy and what good practice looks like for local influencing.
Creating our future agendas together
Becky Hothersall from the Taking Action on Rural Poverty project will share learning from our partners and Citizens’ Panel about local priorities. We’ll then look at emerging themes for future sharing and learning sessions, with breakout rooms to select popular topics and useful outcomes.
We will also have a short update from Argyll & Bute Third Sector Interface and an optional slot for swapping updates or facilitated networking.
