OUR STORIES – VOICES OF MIDLOTHIAN FAMILIES

On Thursday 9th October, as part of Challenge Poverty Week, an event called “Our Stories; Voices of Midlothian Families” will take place in St Johns and King’s Park Church in Dalkeith, just opposite Morrisons. It’s a free drop in and everyone is welcome between 10.30am and 2.30pm on the day.

The event is the first creative display of stories collected by a community research project called “Our Experiences, Our Voices, Our Stories.” The thirteen researchers involved are all from Midlothian and were trained in the techniques of community research by Midlothian Sure Start. The project is funded by the Scottish Government and supported by Midlothian Council.
