PANEL principles to taking a human-rights based approach: Empowerment
3 December @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Empowerment is a key principle of taking a human rights based approach. What does this mean in practice?
A human rights based approach means that individuals and communities should understand their rights and be fully supported to participate in the development of policy and practices which affect their lives.
In our fourth Rights in Action lunchtime webinar, we will hear from a panel speakers about the principle of empowerment, what has meant for them in their communities or work and what it means for the anti-poverty movement more broadly.
This is the fourth webinar of a series on the PANEL principles. Each session focusing on one key principle of taking a human rights based approach.
This will be in a webinar format with speakers answering set questions, with space for a short Q&A at the end.
