Emma Jackson
Emma is a passionate social justice campaigner, with both her personal and professional life has been dedicated to tackling inequality. Emma worked for the debt help charity Christians Against Poverty as Scotland Director for over 5 years and at the end of last year took up post leading the social justice portfolio for Citizens Advice Scotland. Emma is Vice Convenor for the Public Life and Social Justice work of the Church of Scotland and represents the Church of Scotland on the Poverty Alliance Board. She speaks widely on the subjects of inequality, poverty and the inclusion of those with lived experience. Emma is a regular broadcaster and contributor for BBC Radio Scotland’s Thought for the Day. She lives with her husband and three children in the rural Borders.
